Where site contamination levels are considered to be potentially harmful, a remediation strategy is normally required to mitigate the identified contamination risks. A remediation strategy sets out the options as to how the contamination can be most effectively dealt with, to render the site fit for its proposed use. A remediation strategy includes a clear set of remediation activities and how these will be implemented and verified.
Local Authorities often require proof of the completion of the proposed and agreed remediation works. The validation report provides a full record of remediation activities carried out on site and contains accurate documentary evidence and data collected in accordance with the requirements of the remediation strategy and implementation plan.
We support our clients through the full process of remediation works, providing design, supervision and monitoring of works undertaken. Being involved from the beginning of these projects allows us to keep detailed records and provide watching brief during the remedial works, in order to meet any conditions imposed by your Local Authority.
